Clarence - Funeral services were held Wednesday, Jan. 5, for Frank Howard Buckley, 91, at 1:30 p.m. at the Chapman Funeral Home. Buckley died Monday at St. Luke's hospital, Davenport, where he had been a patient for about a week.

Born August 4, 1874, in Smith county, Kansas, he lived 80 years of his life in the Clarence community. He was married to Rena Robinson in 1901 in Cedar county. He was a retired farmer.

Survivors are 2 daughters, Mrs. Norman Goldsmith, Lowden, and Mrs. Clifford Robertson, Davenport; 3 sons, Walter, Martelle; Charles, Clinton; and Roy, Lebanon, Mo.; 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife and a son, Howard.

Rev. Richard Keim conducted the services with music by Ronald Goldsmith and Gary Goldsmith, and Mrs. Robert Hasselbusch at the organ.

Pallbearers were Ronald Goldsmith, Gary Goldsmith, Clifford Robertson Jr., Terry Robertson, Carrell Yutesler and Kenneth Dircks.

Mr. Buckley was a member of Mt. Hope Lodge 501 AF and AM. Masonic services were held Tuesday evening.

Burial was in the Clarence cemetery.
