Clarence - Mrs. Jeanette Hoyman, 96, Cedar Rapids, a Clarence native, died Tuesday morning in a Cedar Rapids nursing home. She had been ill for several years. Graveside services in Clarence are pending.

Mrs. Hoyman, the daughter of John and Margaret (Ferguson) Greig was born Feb. 27, 1870 in Clarence. She was married to Elmer Hoyman Nov. 3, 1892. The had observed 69 years of marriage at the time of his death in 1961. She was a member of the First Presbyterian church.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Mrs. Maurice Read, Minneapolis and Isabel Hoyman, Cedar Rapids; a son, Dr. William Hoyman, Grandview, Wash.; 4 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Margaret Sylvester, Clarence.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter, a granddaughter, 2 brothers and a sister.
