Funeral services for Martha Feddersen, 89, Clarence, were held June 10, 1988 at St. John's United Church of Christ, with the Rev. Calvin Schumacher officiating. Mrs. Robert Hasselbusch was the organist and St. John's adult choir sang. Pallbearers were David Sennett, Ronnie Stange, John Feddersen, Larry Appleby, Allen Feddersen and Dennis Feddersen.

Mrs. Feddersen died June 8 at the Clarence Nursing Home.

The daughter of John and Louise Ditz Runge, she was born April 13, 1899 in Clarence. She attended the Clarence schools. She married Fred Feddersen Feb. 14, 1917 in Clarence. He died in 1977.

The Feddersens farmed in the Clarence-Oxford Junction area until 1940, when they moved to Clarence. She was a lifetime member of St. John's church and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

She is survived by a daughter, Dorothy Sennett, Lowden; 7 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, 2 sons, 2 great-grandchildren, a sister and 2 brothers.
