Earl McClellan, 51, Buried at Stanwood

Stanwood - Funeral services for Earl McClellan, 51, were held Monday afternoon, May 29 at Chapman Funeral Home at 2 p.m. The Rev. James Nelson officiated. Burial was in the Stanwood cemetery.

Pallbearers were Ralph Nodurft, Elwood Hansen, William Hansen, Glenn Thumma, Gerald Jones and Jack Techau. Mrs. Robert Hasselbusch provided the music.

Graveside rites were given by the Stanwood Hegarty-Busching American Legion Post.

Earl A. McClellan was born Dec. 6, 1915 to Frank and Mamie Gaige McClellan at Stanwood. He died May 27 at a Boone hospital, following a short illness after suffering a sun stroke while working with the Quad Cities Construction company.

He is survived by 2 brothers, Robert and Edgar, both of Stanwood.
