Funeral services for Wilma W. Schroeder, 80, were held June 22, 1989 at St. John's United Church of Christ, with the Rev. Calvin Schumacher officiating. Mrs. Robert Hasselbusch was the organist and pallbearers were Jerry Goldsmith, Merlin Geadelmann, Robert Schroeder, Terry Schneider, Lavern Schwein and Vern Schroeder. Honorary pallbearers were Cecil Bowman and Raymond Conrad. Burial was in St. John's cemetery.

Mrs. Schroeder died June 19 at St. Luke's hospital in Cedar Rapids.

The daughter of Gus and Emma Kreinbring Goldsmith, she was born Sept. 21, 1908 in Clarence. She married William Schroeder May 18, 1929 in Rock Island, Ill. He died in 1978. She was a lifelong resident of the Clarence area.

Mrs. Schroeder is survived by 2 sons, Dale and Don, both of Clarence; 6 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and 2 step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and 3 brothers.
