Services for Gladys Lash, 75, a lifelong resident of Tipton, were at 10 a.m. June 15 at Chapman funeral home in Clarence. Rev. Ralph E. Schenck officiated and music was furnished by Laura Geller. Interment was in the Clarence cemetery.

Miss Lash died June 11 in her home in Tipton, following a long illness.

The only child of Bruce and Abigail Zuck Lash, Gladys Grace Lash was born October 29, 1892 in Fairfield township. She attended Willow Point district school and graduated from Tipton high school in 1912.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian church in Tipton and secretary-treasurer of the Sunday school for several years. She was active in building a strong alumni association of the Tipton high school.

She managed 2 farms for a time after her father's death in 1939.

Surviving is an aunt, Mrs. U. J. Fike of Tipton and a number of cousins.
