Glenn Miller, 65, Buried in Missouri

MECHANICSVILLE - Funeral services were held in Lamar, Mo. Friday afternoon for Glenn H. Miller, 65. He was the son of Mrs. Iva Miller and a brother of Earl Miller, both of this community.

Mr. Miller died Feb. 20 in the Barton County Memorial hospital. He was a resident of St. Louis, Mo.

Glenn H. Miller was born July 25, 1902 at Mechanicsville. He was a technician for many years for the Western Union Telegraph. He was married on April 24, 1937 to Ann Parrish at Salina, Kan. He was a member of the Methodist church, the De Soto, Mo. Masonic lodge and the De Soto chapter of the Order of Eastern Star.

Survivors include his wife; mother, Mrs. Miller, and brother, Earl. Also 2 sisters, Mrs. Viola Rittmer, Cedar Rapids, and Mrs. Lydia Schurkey, Davenport.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Eugene Rooney in the Bruce-Konantz funeral chapel, Lamar, with burial in the Lake cemetery.

Earl Miller, Mechanicsville, attended his brother's funeral.
