West Liberty - Mrs. Clara Eggert, 65, died last week at Mercy hospital in Iowa City. The body was taken to the Snider funeral home.

Services were held at 1:20 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, in the Methodist church in Bennett. Burial in the Inland cemetery near Bennett.

Mrs. Eggert was born Clara Johnson Dec. 31, 1886, in Cedar county. She married Charles Eggert Nov. 16, 1910, in Davenport. He preceded her in death. She moved to West Liberty three years ago from Tipton. She was a member of the Methodist church in Bennett.

Survivors: one daughter, Mrs. Lester Kephart, Misswa, Minn.; two brothers, Harry Johnson of Davenport and George Johnson of New Liberty, and two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Holtz of West Liberty and Mrs. Elizabeth Henke of Davenport.
