Last rites were held Thursday, Jan. 16 for Mrs Alma Wiese, 70, who died Monday Jan. 13 in Mercy hospital, Davenport.

The Rev Earl Elowsky officiated. Mrs Lorenz Hoffmeier was organist and the Men's Choir sang. Burial was in the Lutheran cemetery, Lowden.

Pallbearers were Herman Gottschalk, John Hardison, Ted Clark, Robert Gottschalk, Marvin Conrad and Henry Otte.

Mrs Wiese was born Oct 27, 1904 to Henry and Louise Fullreide. She married Herman Wiese on Oct. 27, 1923 in Lowden. She was a member of Trinity church.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs Violet Spoo of Lowden; two grandchildren; one great grandchild and a brother, W. H. Fullriede, Bennett.

Her husband and one brother preceded her in death.
