Funeral services for William Henry Fullriede of Bennett, were held Saturday morning Feb. 8 at St Paul's Lutheran Church with Rev. Wendell Henkenmeier officiating.

Burial was in Van Horne Cemetery, Lowden, with Military Rites conducted by the Rixe-Lausen Post No. 104, Bennett American Legion.

Serving as pallbearers were grandsons Curtis Schroeder, Gene Schroeder, Perry Schroeder, Rodney Schneider, Roland Schneider and Raldo Schneider. Mrs Wendell Henkenmeier was organist. Mr and Mrs Sylvan Kleppe were in charge of flowers.

Mr Fullriede died at the Wilton Nursing Home Wed. Feb. 5, after an extended illness.

The son of Henry and Louise Fullriede he was born in Germany on May 14, 1897 and came to this country with his parents at the age of 7. He was married to Ella M. Miller Sept. 30, 1920 in Lowden. The couple farmed in the Bennett area till retiring to Bennett in 1949. He was a member of St Paul's Luth Church, past President of the Board of Directors of Bennett State Bank and a Veteran of World War I.

He is survived by his wife and 2 daughters Mrs Louis (Clara) Schroeder, and Mrs Allen (Elda) Schneider, both of Bennett; nine grandchildren and one niece.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother, and 1 sister.
