Funeral services were held here Saturday at 1:00 p.m. in Trinity Lutheran church, Lowden for Jeffrey Kruckenberg, 14, son of Mrs Eleanor Kruckenberg. Burial was in the Lutheran cemetery.

The Rev Earl Elowsky officiated at the service. Mrs Lorenz Hoffmeier was organist and the men's choir sang.

Pallbearers were Wm Kruckenberg, Jr., Wm Butterbrodt, Jr., Kenneth Burmeister, Larry and Richard Hein, Robert Butterbrodt. Mrs Steve Agne and Mrs James Owen had charge of flowers.

Jeffrey died Thursday in St Luke's hospital, Cedar Rapids following a brief illness.

He was born Dec. 1, 1959 in Cedar Rapids.

Survivors include his mother; a sister, Mrs. William (Janet) Ketelsen of Durant; a brother Jim of Bennett; his maternal grandparents, Mr and Mrs Ferd Hein of Lowden. He was preceded in death by his father.
