Funeral services were held Saturday, July 3rd at the United Methodist church in Clarence for Mrs Kermit Roelf. The Rev James Lusher conducted the service. Gordon Smith assisted. Mrs James Sawyer, Jr. was organist.
Pallbearers were William Kirchner, Howard Claney, George Ruprecht, Grover Penningroth, Dr. G. H. Utley, Lee Kemmann, Lavern Meyer and Paul Lohman. Mrs George Utley, Mrs William Kirchner, Mrs Gordon Smith and Evadelle Brink had charge of flowers. Burial was in the Clarence cemetery.
Mrs Roelf died Thursday in her home. She had been in failing health for several months.
K. Louise McGregor was born at Shell Rock, Iowa. She married Kermit Roelf on Oct. 8, 1934, at Galena, Ill. Mrs Roelf had operated a beauty shop in Clarence.
Survivors include her husband; sons, Robert, Iowa City, Iowa and Gary, Clarence, and four grandchildren.
