One of the land deals of the last week was the purchase of the C. S. Ridenour farm by J. L. Riddnour. The farm consists of 170 acres and is known as one of the best farms in Cedar county. C. S. Ridenour purchased this farm 15 years ago at $70 per acre and sells it for $220, receiving more than three times what he paid. J. L. Ridenour is considered fortunate in securing this farm at so low a figure, as few farms in Iowa as good as this one is selling at what he paid.
