Death was the result of a stroke of paralysis which he suffered Saturday morning as he was arising from his bed, and was but partially dressed when he fell to the floor in an unconscious condition. Medical aid was immediately summoned, and everything possible done for the old gentleman, but he never recovered sufficiently to speak, altho the family think he recognized them and realized what was transpiring, for a period of several hours prior to his passing away. Mr Gipple had been in his usual good health, for a man of his years.
