Hi,
My name is Kathy Barnholdt and I am researching the family name Barnholdt. I am married to Barry Barnholdt who is son to William Barnholdt. William Barnholdt's father was Albert Barnholdt.
William Barnholdt was born in Palmer Nebraska.
He lived in Van Horn Iowa. Albert Barnholdt's wife was Florence Becker. I have heard that she lived in a sod home and "came across in a covered wagon.
If you have any info about Albert Barnholdt, please pass it on. We have no idea who his parents were.
