Getting copy of obituary from 1869

My 3ggm, Margaret Jane (Ross) WALLACE, died in Cass County 12 April 1869. Since this was before vital records were required in Iowa, I am looking for a newspaper obit if one exists. She and her husband, William Wallace, and 5 children would just have recently moved there from Illinois. Does anyone know how I can see if there is an obit and get a copy? I live in Florida so can't do personal hands-on research.
