Services Set For Mrs. Bootjer
CUMBERLAND--Funeral services for Mrs. George J. Bootjer, 80, longtime Cumberland resident, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Evangelical Lutheran church north of here. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Bootjer died Thursday morning at the Atlantic Memorial hospital where she had been a patient two months. The former Anna Tibken, daughter of Claus and Christine Alpers Tibken, she was born in Franklin township March 11, 1882.
She was married to Mr. Bootjer June 28, 1905, and they lived all of their married life in Cumberland. He is a retired hardware dealer. She was a member of the First Evangelical Lutheran church.
Surviving are her husband, a brother, Fritz Tibken of Wiota and two sisters, Mrs. Marie Paulsen of Atlantic and Mrs. John Claussen of Anita.
The family will meet friends at the Hodges funeral home here from 7 to 9 o'clock this evening.
