MRS. W. C. MUELLER DIES AT HOME IN LYMAN TODAY
Mrs. Emma Mueller, 91, wife of the late W. C. Mueller and a longtime Lyman area resident, died at her home in Lyman at 6:15 this morning. She had been in failing health the last year.
She was born in Beecher, Ill., Jan. 13, 1876, the daughter of William and Louise Rabe and came to the Lyman vicinity with her parents when a small girl. She was married March 17, 1897, to William C. Mueller who died Feb. 15, 1954. Mrs. Mueller was a life member of St. John's United Church of Christ.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Leora Rathkamp and Mrs. Huldah Tanner, both of Griswold; a sister, Mrs. Minnie Schrader of Villisca; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Mrs. Louise Bode, Mrs. Rose Mueller and Mrs. Alvina Sunderman; four brothers, William, Henry, Emil and Ed Rabe and a grandson.
Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at St. John's United Church of Christ, the Rev. Norman E. Meyers officiating. The remains will be taken from the Roland funeral home to the church Saturday morning and burial will be in St. John's cemetery.
