MRS. HAPKE, 59,
DIES THURSDAY
IN CALIFORNIA

Mrs. Emma Hapke, 59, died suddenly Thursday at Ventura, Calif. She was a former Elk Horn area resident and had been in failing health the last few years.

Mrs. Hapke, the former Emma Luella Andersen, was born near Elk Horn, July 14, 1911, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Andersen, She was married to Raymond Hapke July 14, 1933 and had lived in California the last 30 years.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Harold (Laura) Harmen in Ventura and Mrs. Jim (Juanita) Wulff of Santa Barbara, Calif., two granddaughters, three sisters, Mrs. Margaret Jacobsen and Mrs. Clara Christensen and a brother, Pete Andersen. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Anna.

Funeral services will be held at Ventura.
