Michael Shey, 37, Son of Former Massenans, Dies

Michael E. Shey passed away suddenly at Broken Bow, Nebr., Dec. 18.

Mickey was born at Red Oak, Nov. 15, 1936, the youngest son of Dan and Bertha Cruise Shey. He graduated from Red Oak High school and Creighton University of Omaha.

He leaves his wife Eileen and five small children, Dan, Tom, Chris, Lisa, and Guy: three brothers; Jerry of Algona, George of Webster City, and Patrick of Council Bluffs, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Shey of Red Oak, formerly of Massena.

Funeral services were held Friday, Dec. 21, at Emmetsburg, where he was employed as a pharmacist. Those attending services from this area were Mrs. Alfred Hogan, and Earl Clinton from Massena, Mr. and Mrs. James Stapleton from Wiota, and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Shey from Atlantic.
