IN LOVING MEMORY OF CHRIS MILLER

As we gather this afternoon it is in grateful remembrance of our deceased friend Chris Miller who was born in Arthur, Iowa on May 9, 1892, one of eight children in the family of Mr. and Mrs. Adam Miller.

On February 21, 1917 he was married to Miss Zeta Berry of Atlantic, Iowa. On April 16, 1918 they were blessed with the birth of a son, W. Robert Miller.

For many years he was engaged in the sale of commercial feeds with offices at Atlantic and Des Moines, Iowa as well as Minneapolis, Minnesota.

In more recent years he lived in Lincoln in a state of semi-retirement and during that time was associated with the Allied Real Estate Company of this city.

He was a member of the Pioneers Golf Association advisory board and was one of the founders of the Lincoln Municipal Golfers Association serving last year as Vice-President of that group.

Together with his wife and son's family, he was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church.

As a member of the Masonic Order in Ben Hur Lodge 611 of Arthur, Iowa, he served as Worshipful Master. He was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star and served his chapter as Worthy Patron.

Unto the care and keeping of Almighty God we commend the members of his family including: His wife, Zeta, His son, Bob, together with his wife and four children;Jacque, Jim, Jeri, and Jody, Also his sister, Mrs. Louise Ostling of Ventura, California.

NOTE FROM CONTRIBUTOR: Christian Miller was born May 9, 1892 and died January 1966
