Mrs. Charles Harris, former Atlantic woman, died Sunday at Long Beach, Cal., where she had resided about eight years, according to word received by relatives here. Mrs. Harris had been in failing health three years, and suffered two stokes recently.
She was the former Susie McFarland, daughter of J. H. and Jane McFarland of Atlantic. Mr. and Mrs. Harris resided here until moving to California about eight years ago and he died there three years ago.
Surviving are three children, Benton and Ellery Harris and Mrs. Edith Perkins, all of Long Beach; a brother, Ralph McFarland of Seattle, Wash.; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A son, Clyde, died at an army camp in 1918, and also preceding her in death were two brothers, Robert and Arthur McFarland, and a sister, Mrs. Nellie Butler.
