MRS. EHRMAN LAID TO REST

Funeral services for Mrs. Velda M. Ehrman, 69, of Wiota, wife of the late Theodore J. Ehrman, were held at 10 o’clock Friday morning at St. Joseph’s Catholic church in Wiota.

Mrs. Frances Richter was organist. Casket bearers were Gail Toepfer, Milford Mailander, Arley Acker, Louis Robinson, Clay Henderson and William Kinen. Interment was in the Atlantic Catholic cemetery.

Mrs. Ehrman was born in Massena township Aug. 7, 1894, the daughter of Jerry and Lydia Malone Shey and was married to Mr. Ehrman June 6, 1918. She had lived on the same farm two miles northwest of Wiota since and was member of Jt. Joseph’s Catholic church at Wiota. Mr. Ehrman died Oct. 29, 1959.

Surviving are a son, Gene Ehrman of Wiota; two brothers, Dan Shey of Red Oak and Howard Shey of Wiota; three sisters, Mrs. Walter McMahon of Wiota; Mrs. Wayne Witte of Omaha and Mrs. Willard Franz of Port Charlotte, Fla., and two grandsons.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Bertha Shey and a brother, who died in infancy.
