Erma [Irma] Jean, Eight Months Old, Died At Stuart Monday – Ill Few Hours.
Erma [Irma] Jean, the eight-month-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Durr, who live south of Stuart, died suddenly at 11 o’clock Monday evening. Pneumonia was the cause of the death. The little tot had been sick but a few hours.
Both Mr. and Mrs. Durr are Atlantic people, Mrs. Durr was formerly Miss Erma [Irma] Fudge, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. O. Fudge. Mr. Durr is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Durr.
The body of the infant will be brought here tomorrow morning to the J. O. Fudge home. The funeral will be held from the Methodist church, Wednesday afternoon, at 2 o’clock. The Rev. F. W. Simpson will conduct the services.
