John Dorgan, who has been sick for some days, died at his home this morning about three o’clock of catarrh of the stomach and paralysis of the bowels, aged 49 years. He leaves a wife and five children, two boys and three girls. The body will be taken to Audubon on the Friday morning train for burial at that place.

The funeral of John Dorgan, of this city, was held in Audubon at the M. E. church Friday morning. Mr. Dorgan was a fireman on the Audubon branch for a number of years. He was a most faithful man in all respects and commanded the respect of all who knew him. He made his last trip January 13, at which time he was taken with the grippe and continually failed to the time of his death.
