Death Calls Another

Mrs. Bessie E. Hedrick of Pymosa township died at her home northwest of the city yesterday at 2 p.m. after almost a year’s illness of Bright’s disease. The lady was 25 years of age and leaves a little child to mourn her death. She was well known in Atlantic and greatly beloved by her friends. The funeral services will be held tomorrow Sunday at noon from the Christian church, and interment will be made in Wiota cemetery.

Death of Mrs. Verne Hedrick.

Mrs. Bassie [Bessie] Hedrick, wife of Verne Hedrick, who lives about one and a half miles north of this city, died yesterday (Friday) after suffering but four weeks with consumption.

Mrs. Hedrick is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Stark. She was born twenty-four years ago near Wiota where she lived until her marriage in 1901. The deceased had suffered with quick consumption for four weeks. About a month ago she gave birth to twins, one of whom is still living. The bereaved family consists of three children and a husband. Her father and mother survive her. She also leaves one brother and four sisters.

The funeral services will be held tomorrow (Sunday) at 12 o’clock at the Church of Christ, the minister from Anita officiating. Interment will be made in the Wiota cemetery.
