PARALYTIC STROKE CAUSES HIS DEATH

ADAM WHITE DIED IN BED

Family Here This Afternoon Arranging for the Funeral Services.

Adam White, an aged and highly respected citizen of Marne, was found dead in bed this morning at 7:30 o’clock. His death was due to a stroke of paralysis, the second stroke that he had sustained recently. He was formerly a resident of Atlantic, having lived here about four years.

Undertaker Winne is preparing the remains for shipment to Springview, Nebraska, former home of the deceased. Andrew Sarsfield will probably accompany the body west.

Mr. White was born June 6, 1836, in Highland county, Ohio. In 1859 he was married to Mary E. Schaffer in the same county and moved to Marion county, Iowa in 1865. In 1872 he moved to Atlantic and resided here four years afterwards moving to the Indian Creek neighborhood where he lived for a number of years. He then moved to Springview, Nebraska, and resided there seven years. Recently he returned to Cass county and lived at Marne. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Ida Fudge of Marne, Mrs. Ada Wilkins of Springview, Nebraska and a son John White of Springview, Nebraska. The funeral services at Springview will probably be held next Sunday afternoon.
