ALBERT L. HARRIS IS DEAD

Well Known Resident of Marne Passes Away as Result of Appendicitis-Funeral Services on Friday Afternoon.

Albert L. Harris, a well known resident of Marne, where he was engaged in the grain business, died at his home in that town this (Wednesday) morning at 4 o’clock, after a short illness. He was a victim of appendicitis. He was not considered dangerously ill until a short time before his death when Dr. Giles, who was attending him, called Dr. Porterfield of this city. An operation was performed but it was found that nothing could be done, the appendix having ruptured into the bowels before an operation could be had. He also had a slight attack of pneumonia but this did not cause his death.

Deceased was about fifty years of age and leaves a wife and four children, two sons and two daughters. The funeral services will be held on Friday afternoon at two o’clock at the Marne Presbyterian church and the interment made in the Marne cemetery. Deceased was a member of A. F. and A. M. and A. O.
