Mrs. Grouch [Crouch] of Pymosa Township and Al Harris of Marne are Called Their Final Reward.
Mrs Crouch died at her home in Pymosa township early this morning of cancer after an extended illness, that had become acute only within the past two weeks. She was the mother of J. W. Lamb, her only child, was seventy five years of age and had been a resident of Cass county for the past fifty years. The deceased was a loving woman in every trait of her character, and to know her was to be her friend. She has a large circle of true friends who will sincerely mourn her death. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Billingsley at the Methodist church at 2 p. m. Saturday, the procession leaving the house at 1 p. m. Interment will be had in the Atlantic cemetery.

Passes Away at the Home of Her son, J. W. Lamb, as Result of Cancer to the Stomach.
Mrs Susan Crouch, a resident of Cass county, on the place where she died, since 1856, passed away this (Wednesday) morning at 8:30, death resulting from cancer of the stomach, from which she had been a sufferer for some time. She died at the home of her son, J. W. Lamb, north of the city.
Mrs. Crouch was born in Ohio and was married in 1852 to Jonathan Lamb, who died on the 6th of February, 1868, and a few years later was married to Wm. Crouch, who died in 1883. She leaves but one son, J. W. Lamb. She was a good Christian woman and her death will be learned with sadness by the many who knew and loved her.
The funeral services will be held at the M. E. church in this city at 11 o’clock Saturday morning and the interment made in the Atlantic cemetery. The services were to have been held on Friday afternoon but the time was changed owing to the fact that the funeral of Albert Harris, cousin of J. W. Lamb, occurs on the hour originally set.

Died, at the home of her son J. W. Lamb, three miles north of town Wednesday morning, Mrs. Susan Crouch. She was born July 1st 1831 in Pike county, Ohio, was married March 1852 to Jonathan Lamb, who died in Feb. 1868. To them one son was born, J. W. Lamb, at whose home she died. She was married again June 25, 1881, to William H. Crouch who died March 30, 1883 in Virginia. Mrs. Crouch was one of the oldest settlers in this county, a woman loved and respected by all who knew her, she was a true christian and a life long member of the Methodist church. The funeral will be held from that church Saturday morning at 11 o’clock and interment made in the Atlantic cemetery.
