Thomas Bowling

FARMER – Funeral services for Thomas Bowling, 87, are 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter’s Catholic Church of Farmer with the Rev. Albert Belda officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery. There will be a scripture reading 8 p.m. Friday at the church. Montgomery’s Funeral Home of Alexandria is in charge of arrangements.

He was born Dec. 26, 1888 to Mr. and Mrs. Abe Bowling in Cass County, Iowa and died suddenly at his home in Farmer Dec. 3. He married Bertha Theis Nov. 25, 1915 at Epiphany.

Survivors include his wife; four sons, Harlan of Sioux Falls, Lowell of Mitchell, Howard of Rapid City and Darrel of Minneapolis, Minn.; two daughters, Mrs. Francis (Marilyn) Zeal of Costa Mesa, Calif., and Mrs. Maynard (Marlys) Ozan of Lakeville, Minn.
