Dies Following Birth of Son. Baby Is Getting Along Nicely. Was Well Known.
Mrs. Lyla Murial Harris, wife of Ellery Harris of the Welch-Moore shoe store, died at 4:30 this morning at the family home, 103 West Fourth street, death resulting following the birth of a baby son at 1:50 this morning. The baby is getting along nicely.
Mrs. Harris was prominent in musical activities while a student in the local high school and with musical organizations in the city, including the M. C. P. club of which she was a member. She was a student of pipe organ.

Mrs. Harris, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. P. Bigelow was born Oct. 6, 1909, in Atlantic. She was graduated from the Atlantic high school in 1927 and was married to Ellery Harris Aug. 14, 1927. She is survived by her father, her husband and the infant son, who has been named Milton Wayne. One sister, Mrs. Harvey Williams, lives in Oklahoma City, and her other two sisters live here. They are Mrs. Lloyd H. Carter of near the city and Miss Erma Bigelow, at home. She has numerous other relatives in this vicinity, where she was well and favorable known.
Mrs. Harris was a member of the Atlantic First Presbyterian church.
Funeral arrangements are pending receipt of word from the sister living in Oklahoma.
