Well Known Local Man Succumbs From Heart Trouble. Had Resided Here Twelve Years.
Frank Crolley, 66, well known local man died yesterday morning at 3 o’clock at his home, 406 Elm street, following a heart attack from which he had been suffering several days. Mr. Crolley had been a sufferer with heart trouble the last six years.
He was born in Des Moines in February, 1866, the son of John and Margaret Crolley, and was raised on a farm in Madison county. He was married at Massena on May 10, 1893, to Ella Malone, an aunt of Representative C. E. Malone of this city.
Lived in Atlantic 12 Years.
Following their marriage, Mr. and Mrs. Crolley lived on farms in the Wiota and Anita vicinities until coming to Atlantic twelve years ago.
Surviving besides the widow are a son, Leo Crolley, local barber; three sisters and a brother. The sisters are Miss Elizabeth Crolley, Miss Katherine Crolley and Miss Polly Crolley of Atlantic, and the brother is Charles Crolley of this city.
Funeral Wednesday
Two brothers are deceased, James Crolley passing away twelve years ago and John Crolley dying twenty-seven years ago.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 10:30 at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic church here. The Rev. P. N. McDermott will officiate and burial will be in the Atlantic Catholic cemetery.
