Mrs. Anna Malone Dead

Word has been received here that Mrs. Anna Malone, mother of B. F. Malone of Grove Township and Tom Malone of Wiota, passed away at Alexander, S. D., yesterday, where she has been making her home with her children. Her death was very sudden and unexpected, the relatives here having no intimation of her illness. She will be remembered by many, in fact, by all of the Pioneers of this county as she and her husband came here at an early day. They emigrated from Ohio, and located In Madison county, this state, in the year 1868, then coming on to this county the following year 1869. Her husband Thomas Malone died February 6, 1881 and is buried here in the Atlantic cemetery. No funeral arrangements have yet been made, but in all probability the remains will be brought her for interment by the side of her late husband.
