JAMES S. MALONE DIES EARLY TODAY

Brother of Well Know Atlantic People Dies at Home of Daughter Northeast of Wiota at 1:20 This Morning.

James S. Malone, father of Mrs. Joe Mailander and a brother of B. F. Malone and Mrs. Frank Crolley of this city, died at 1:20 this morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Mailander, six miles northeast of Wiota. Death came as the result of a stroke of paralysis suffered a short time ago, which was his second stroke. The first attack, ten months ago had left him bedfast since April 30th last.

Deceased was born in Ohio and was aged 60 years and seven months at the time of his death. He had lived in South Dakota till the death of his wife six years ago, when he moved to this county to make his home.

He leaves a number of children, Leo, Paul and Arthur of Mitchell, S. D., Mrs. A. W. Koma of Newkirk, Okla., and Mrs. Mailander at whose home he died. He also leaves a number of brothers and sisters. The sisters are Mrs. Thomas Maher and Mrs. Dan Maher of Dell Rapids, S. D.; Miss Margaret Malone of Centerville, S. D.; Mrs. A. Bohling of Emery, S. D.; Mrs. Jerry Shey of Wiota and Mrs. Frank Crolley of this city. The brothers are B. F. Malone of this city and Francis Malone of Plankinton, S. D.

Funeral services will likely be held Wednesday.
