Well Known Lady Dies Last Night

Mrs. Florence Adams Passes Away Following Lingering Illness; Native of County.

Griswold, Ia., July 15. - (Special to News-Telegraph) - Mrs. Florence Adams, native of Cass county and wife of John Adams, well known auctioneer, died at 10:15 last night at her home, 4 miles east of town. Death was the result of heart trouble and complications following a lingering illness. She was 44 years of age.

Born Near Griswold

The deceased was born Oct. 12, 1879, in Cass county and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Rhue of Griswold. She grew to womanhood in Griswold territory and was united in marriage to John Adams January 17, 1898.

Survivors

Besides her husband and parents, two sons, two brothers and three sisters survive. The sons are: Frank and Vergil. The brothers are John Rhue, Morton Mills, Ia., and Varney Rhue Ashmore (adopted). The sisters are: Mrs. Ed. Romig, Grant, Mrs. Wm. Weston, Griswold, and Mrs. Ira Shafer, San Diego, Cal. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
