Local and Personal

Mr. Ira Johnson departed Mon-
day for his home in Wessington
Springs, South Dakota. He was
called here last week by the death
of his mother, Mrs. Matilda C.
Johnson, a former Exira resident,
which occurred last Tuesday. Since
her removal from Exira several
years ago she had been making her
home with her daughter, Mrs. W.
H. Eagen, near Anita.
