LOCAL and PERSONAL

Mrs. Elizabeth McDermott, a
pioneer resident of Cass County,
died at the home of her brother in
Anita, last week, from the effects of
burns received when she tried to
start a fire with kerosene. She lived
almost a week after the accident.
