Rites Held For Anna Hardin, 92
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Grant Methodist Church for Mrs. Anna B. Hardin, 92. Rev. Donald Jones officiated.

Mrs. Jack Taylor and Mrs. Gerald Taylor sang “Rock of Ages” and The Old Rugged Cross” and were accompanied by Mrs. Earl Spiker at the organ. Mrs. William Chalmers and Mrs. Clair Holdorf were in charge of the flowers,

Casket bearers were Max Miller, William Chalmers, Junior Lenz, Theron Shafer, Kenneth Mueller and Clair Holdorf. Burial was in the Grant cemetery.

Mrs. Hardin, daughter of George and Barbara Shierman Fuhr, was born in Johnson County Jan. 29, 1880, and passed away Thursday evening , Jan. 4 at the Cass County Memorial Hospital. She had been a resident of Crestwood Nursing Home in Anita for several years. With the exception of two years, she had lived all her life in Cass county. She was married to Lewis Hardin and he passed away in 1938. She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ.

Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
