mrs. Desire Lindeman, 81, wife of George Lindeman, 202 Linn st, died(May 22 1930) this morning at 8 oclock from complications incident to her advanced age. she and her husband had lived here since 1924.
Mrs Lindeman, daughter of m/m Thomas Holmes, was born April 13, 1849, in Plymouth, Mass., and in 1864 moved to Rochelle, Il., where she was married March 14, 1871 , to Andrew Hodge. In 1874, they moved to Shenandoah, IA., living there until going to nebraska in 1886. Mr Hodge died there and April 23 1908, Mrs Hodge was married to George Lindeman at Crawford, NE. They lived on a homestead sixteen miles southwest of that place until moving to Atlantic in 1921.
surviving are the husband and seven stepchildren. There is one sister, mrs G w woods, of Plymouth MA.
Funeral svcs will be held Saturday aft at 130 at the Roland Peacock, & Baxter funeral home and burial will be in the Weirich Cem in Noble township.
