Feb. 21, 1904-Oct. 19, 1994

Harlan—ANNA KATHERINE LAMBERTSEN was born on a farm near Walnut, February 21, 1904. She was the daughter of FERDINAND and EMMA THIESSEN RASMUSSEN. She was one of two children in the family. She attended rural school through the 5th grade and finished through the 8th grade in Walnut.

She married PETE LAMBERTSEN in 1922. They were the parents of two sons, ORVIS and DALE. She worked as a waitress in Avoca and Oakland for a number of years. She also worked in a doctor’s office as a receptionist for a time. In the early 1960’s she moved to Harlan to make her home with her son, Dale. She entered the Baptist Memorial Home in Harlan Dec. 1, 1982. She died at the Home Oct. 19, 1994 at the age 90 years, 7 months and 28 days.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, WILBERT RASMUSSEN and a son, ORVIS LAMBERTSEN. She is survived by her son, DALE LAMBERTSEN of Harlan, 3 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and other relatives.

Funeral services were held Oct. 22, 1994 at the Knutson Funeral Chapel with Rev. Donald Schoepf officiating. Burial was in the Walnut cemetery. Casket bearers were Stanley Sutton, Daryle Bailey, Herb Mertz, Doug Lambertsen, Nick Guerier and Terry Nelson. Knutson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
