OBITUARY

WILLIAM HENRY STRITTMATTER, son of MR. and MRS. FRANK STRITTMATTER, was born October 24, 1884. He grew to manhood ten miles west of Atlantic, in the Morton vicinity.

He married MISS LIZZIE BALLENSIEFER early in the spring of 1910. He moved to a farm north-west of Atlantic, March 1, 1910, where he lived until March 1, 1911, when he moved to a farm two and one-half miles north-east of Wiota. Here a son, EDWIN, was born April 30, 1912. For the last year or so, he has been in poor health.

He died Sunday, October 6, at 8:00 o’clock p.m. at Muscatine, Iowa, from tuberculosis. He leaves to mourn him a wife, child, both parents, three brothers, six sisters, besides other relatives and numerous friends.

The brothers are LEONARD and JOE, of Casey, Iowa, and ANDREW, who is still at home. The sisters are MRS. GEO. DIMIG and MRS. JOE MC MERRIMAN, of near Atlantic, and AGNES, MAY, SYLVILLA AND GERTRUDE, who are at home.

The deceased was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the German Aid Society. The funeral services were held at Wiota and the body was interred at the Atlantic cemetery. The Rev. Father McAllister officiated.
