Mrs. Hazelle S. Fenimore, 71, a resident of Mount Vernon since 1937, died in a Burlington hospital early this morning. She was born in Atlantic, Ia. July 6, 1887, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Benjamin Shute. She was educated in that area and taught school at Humeston, Ia. Mrs. Fenimore had lived in Nebraska and Wyoming before coming to Mount Vernon in 1937. She had resided here since that time. She was united in marriage to Joseph Fenimore November 27, 1919 in Kimbal, Neb. She was a member of the First Christian Church. Survivors are her husband, Joseph of Mount Vernon; four daughters, Mrs. Ruth Combs and Mrs. Maxine Caudill, both of Mount Vernon. Mrs. Edna Rasmussen of Burlington and Mrs. Lucille Rasmussen of Mount Vernon five sons Ben Wells, Raymond Wells, Guy Fenimore, and Stanley Fenimore, all of mount Vernon and Louis Wells of Pendleton, 33 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held in the Kern Funeral Chapel Wednesday at 10 a.m. with Rev. Daniel Thurma of the First Christian Church officiating. Concluding services and interment will be in the Mount Vernon Cemetery
