Mrs. Dick Nelsen’s Father Dies

Funeral services were held Monday, June 11, at 1:30 p.m. at the Roland Funeral Home in Atlantic for GLENN CECIL LEE, 71 father of Mrs. DICK NELSEN of Atlantic.

Rev. Allen E. HEIMEIER officiated. Mrs. KENYON V. KING was organist and played the selections “In the Garden” and “The Old Rugged Cross. Casket bearers were GLEN JENSEN, EARL JENKINS, LELAND BURNHAM, FOLMER NELSEN, GORDON BILLS and RODNEY BILLS. Burial was in the Union Cemetery southwest of Orient.

Mr. Lee, son of WILLIAM S. T. and MARY JANE HUGHES LEE, was born south of Bridgewater Nov. 17, 1901, and was found dead at his home in Atlantic over the weekend. He had been in his usual health until stricken and apparently been dead several days.

He was married to ANNA BYLUND Oct. 11, 1926. He lived in Atlantic and then moved to Albany, N. Y., and returned to Atlantic in 1971 to make his home. He is survived by his former wife; four daughters, Mrs. COLLAND (VERLAINE) BURHAM, Durand, Mich., S/Sgt. ANNA E. LEE of Lackland AFB, Tex., Mrs. DICK (GLENDA) NELSEN of Atlantic and Mrs. STEPHEN (MARY) BILLS of Adair, and a son, ROBERT of Fenton.
