December 12, 1902KENNEDY – ACKER.
The marriage of Miss Emma Kennedy and Mr. Court Acker took place at Des Moines Thursday noon. The officiating clergyman was the Rev. Father Flavin. The bride is a well known young lady of this city, but of late has been in Des Moines. The groom is the son of G. S. Acker living east of town and is a well known carpenter of the city. A reception was held at the home of the bride Friday evening, only relatives and near friends being invited. Mr. and Mrs. Acker will go to housekeeping in the near future.
