Mr. Thomas Gordon Smith and Miss Adda [Aldah] Franklin were married Sunday evening, June 7th. Rev. Rees, officiated. Our young friends have our best wishes for their prosperity in life, and I don’t know that I could wish them better than the following lines express:

May their matrimonial sea of brawls and
squalls be clear,
Except perhaps, some little squalls quite
pleasing to the ear.
