Two Injured In Car
Accident Sunday Night

--------

Wendell Fick of Atlantic and
Miss Agnes Krogh of this place (Exira)
were slightly injured Sunday night
when a truck collided with the car
they were in on highway 71, a mile
north of Exira.

Fick suffered a sprained back
and Miss Krogh received cuts on
her body and one leg. Others fig-
uring in the accident were unin-
jured.

The accident occurred when E.
W. Morse of Lansing, Missouri, in
a truck going north attempted to
pass a car driven by Vernon Lar-
sen of Audubon, also going north.
The corner of the truck body struck
the rear of the Larsen machine
and collieded with the Fick car,
which was coming south, before
the truck could be brought back
behind the Larsen car. Dale Krogh
of Exira was driving the Fick car,
which was upset on the west side
of the road and badly damaged.

Note: Parents of Agness and Dale Krogh were Martinus "Martin" Krogh and Edith Christensen.
