Anita to Vote On
Sunday Blue Laws

The Anita city council is wrest-
ling with a difficult problem. A
petition containing the names of
200 Anita people voicing objection
to Sunday baseball games and
motion picture shows has been
filed with the city council. The
matter is now under consideration
and acceptance or rejection will be
at the next meeting which falls on
Monday, April 2nd.

If the petition is acted on favor-
ably it will be necessary to draft
an ordinance designed to prohibit
baseball and movies on the
Sabbath.
