Atlantic Defeats Band
Tax Levy Monday

In a closely contested city elec-
tion at Atlantic Monday A. H.
Mountain defeated T. B. Swan for
the mayorship by 186 majority.
The vote was: Mountain,923,
Swan, 737.

The proposal to levy a tax to
support a municipal band was de-
feated by two to one. The vote
being: For the proposition, 608;
against, 1,058.

Councilmen elected are T. C.
Cunninghum, Dr. L. D. Getz, V.
P. Robinson, Ray Trainer; at farge
John Berg and R. D. Morrow.
