I realize that this request has been posted for several years, however, I have just found it. My grandfather, Myron Coykendall, had a brother named George. They were two of the sons of Nathan Coykendall. I believe their mother was named Rosa Hancock. The family left Iowa and moved to Kansas in the vicinity of Hutchinson and then Harper. Myron and George later settled in Ellis County Oklahoma, where both are buried. I am sure that if this is not the George you are concerned about, then it is a relative as I my family came from that area. I would appreciate a reply.
