Murphy - I am searching for information on Jeremiah and Sarah MURPHY. I believe they moved to Coon Rapids,IA in 1885. Jerry or J.E. MURPHY worked on the railroad. Mary Rebecca "Mayme" and Frances Ellen "Daisy" were their daughters. According to Sarah's mother's obituary from the 1897 Delavan,Ill. newspaper, they were in Coon Rapids in 1897. They had moved to Del Rio, Texas by the 1900 census. From family stories, Frances Ellen taught school in Coon Rapids. They were Baptists. Any information will be appreciated.
